Denis joined ERA in 1996 initially as a Principal Consultant. He thoroughly enjoyed the variety of working with many different Clients and helping them to save money on their business overhead costs. Prior to joining ERA, Denis held senior management positions with TNT Express NZ. Initially, he held the position of Wellington Manager for around 3 years and was then appointed Southern Regional Manager responsible for the lower North Island and all of the South Island. In these roles, Denis was responsible for all sales and operational matters for the International Courier, Mail and Domestic courier businesses. In 1995, Denis was seconded to Hong Kong where he was involved in strategic operational reviews of both the Hong Kong and Taiwan depots and courier operations.
Before that, Denis enjoyed a long 19 year career with Air New Zealand where he held a variety of positions. His last role was Head Cargo Services Central where he had Sales and Operational responsibilities for Air New Zealand Cargo in the Central Region including the growth and development of the courier fleet.
