Joost is a Procurement and Logistics expert. He has 25+ years of international experience in change agent roles, developing organisational procurement strategies and leading the sourcing effort for multi-operating companies.
Originally from the Netherlands, Joost has lived and worked in various countries, holding senior global logistics roles with Johnson & Johnson, IKEA and Heineken. These roles variously encompassed sea freight, LTL, FTL, warehousing, 3PL, dangerous and perishable goods, and national and international couriers.
Before joining ERA Group, Joost was the Global Procurement Manager for the Alliance Group in the South Island, responsible for all ‘non-livestock’ procurement.
Joost is a Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences graduate with a BBA in Logistics and an MBA in Procurement from the European Institute of Purchasing Management in Geneva.
