Tony has had a long and impressive career in the loss adjusting sector of the insurance industry, acting as an independent impartial adviser to resolve claims. His work involved enquiries into a wide range of claimant’s business processes and systems to assist in the reinstatement of their buildings, equipment, stock and revenue affected by an insurance event.
In 1993, on becoming a Chartered Loss Adjuster, Tony started his own practice, which through growth and merger became part of a nationally branded company called McLarens Young 2 years later. In 2011 he amalgamated eight branches of the company, now known as Crawford and Co and took on the Managing Director role of that entity.
Whilst insurance has been his forte for many years his management roles have seen him implement new processes and streamline others, all the while maintaining control of costs.
He understands the need for great business relationships and the importance of the supplier is the right fit for the client, both in terms of cost and service delivery.
Away from work, Tony enjoys golf, mountain biking and fishing.
